About An Evening With Milne
Billy Moon is a new Charlottesville-based indie-folk band, and this summer they will be sharing their project, "An Evening With Milne." The show features poems from A.A. Milne’s When We Were Very Young put to original music. Billy Moon's gentle acoustic style opens up to more upbeat folk melodies and rhythms, giving an aural compliment to Milne's whimsical imagery.
Music sets are broken up with readings and an intermission for tea and scones. These events are for adult audiences (though we are excited to open up some shows to the whole family, as indicated next to relevant event dates/locations). We hope to provide a peaceful, artistic, tea-filled evening for anyone in need of such a space.

Events are open to the public. Ticket revenue goes toward producing the band's first album.
